Coach Wade Peterson
Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach
Coach Peterson is a 1998 graduate of Rockmart High School from Rockmart,
GA. While there he played baseball and football. After
graduating from Rockmart High, Coach Peterson attended Jacksonville State
University in Alabama and received his Bachelor of Science in Education in
Health and Physical Education in 2006 and then his Master of Science in
Education in Physical Education and Sports Management in 2009. Coach
Peterson began his coaching career at Brantley County in 2006 when he was
a part of the coaching staff that helped lead the Herons to the State
Playoffs and Sweet 16 in football for the first time in school
history. He also coached varsity baseball. In 2007, he helped
with the football, baseball, and basketball program at Atkinson County
High School. Then in 2008, he came back and has coached baseball and
football at Brantley County High School making the state playoffs in
baseball the last three seasons in a row.
